This song is definitely not trying to sell you anything. The sample here was a random video clip of a public domain commercial from the early 90s/late 80s. The video actually contained a quick snippet of whatever (smoke) happened to play just before (cigarettes) the commercial, which is the part of the sample I focused on primarily. No clue what it actually is. The foreboding horns mixed with the not-so-positive dialogue regarding ad agencies provides for an eerie reflection on something that has become so ubiquitous today.
