Tape Deck Side A: eleven

about

Because of the name of this project, the release date was always supposed to be 11/11/11. Unfortunately, on 10/29/11 (two weeks before the scheduled release), some jerk broke into my home and stole my laptop. My computer was literally in the middle of the process of backing up the final mix of the project online when it was stolen. It never finished.

So, what you see and hear here is the only remaining copy of the EP - an earlier draft that only still lives because it was emailed to a friend a couple weeks earlier. It doesn't have all the songs, the arrangement is different, the audio quality is lower than the final mix, etc. Essentially, this is an inferior version of what you were supposed to get. The theft was demoralizing, though, so I don't have the energy to recreate and remix it all.

So I'm sorry for that. All I can say is that I hope you enjoy what you hear and believe that, even though it isn't a finished product, it still took a lot of effort and care.

Thank you and enjoy.
