about

Shklovsky started this one with the Latin-style drums sample. I threw that together with the horn section from a French jazz tune. I've been listening to a lot of Madlib recently, so some heavy backing drums seemed important. The result was something weird & muticultural. I don't think my girlfriend likes this one so much, but I think it turned out. In the end though, it has a distinct hip-hop feel, leaving it in definite need of some verses. I might throw this one on the next beat tape.
